The lodge is owner-managed. The owner strongly believes in providing employment for local people, and about 60% of the staff come from Nungwi village itself, with others from different parts of the island or from the mainland of Tanzania.
All employees are given full training and are encouraged to take part in management decision making on a variety of levels
Our guests come mainly for pure relaxation, but also for snorkelling, diving, fishing and sailing.After climbing Kilimanjaro or taking a strenuous safari trip, this is the ideal place to relax â and the art of doing nothing on a beautiful beach is one weâre keen to cultivate.
The Hotel is set in secluded grounds, so you can enjoy peace and tranquility, but you are still within walking distance of the village and its night life. whether itâs swimming with dolphins, taking a boat trip or visiting Stone Town - we can arrange this also.
